Introductory Chapter Map Labeling
In order to examine and study the interrelationships among environmental systems, draw in the following for each of the world's continents:
a. In light red, sketch in all major highland areas (use Fig. G-1 as a source, which is found on pp. 3 in the textbook.)
b. In green, sketch in the wettest zones (these areas will coincide with the Af and Am zones in the world climate map on p. 15); in yellow, sketch in the driest zones (these areas coincide with the BS and BW zones on the world climate map.)
Using Fig. G-7 (p. 16) as a guide, draw in and label each of the major world population agglomerations discussed on pp. 19-20 in the text.
Using Fig. G-3 (p. 8) as a guide, draw in the boundaries of all of the 12 world geographic realms and label each realm.
