In light of your reading of the Truesdale text, Square Peg: Why Wesleyans Are Not Fundamentalists , respond to the following question: Does a Wesleyan reading of scripture "take the Bible seriously"? In your post, define first how you understand the word seriously in relationship to "taking the Bible seriously." Then articulate three very specific reasons, with reference to the textbook, why you answer the way you do (these reasons should make reference to various parts of the book, not simply one chapter or one theme).
