In drosophila the production of red eye pigment requires

In Drosophila, the production of red eye pigment requires theautosomal dominant allele A. The dominant allele P of a second unlinked autosomal geneturns the pigmented eye to purple, but its recessive allele leaves it red. Afly producing no pigment has white eyes. A homozygous white-eyed fly is crossed witha purple eyed fly of unknown genotype. The F1 are ½ purple, ½ redeyed.

A What are the P1 genotypes?
B If the F1 purple flies are interbred, what phenotypes willappear, in what ratios?
C if the F1 red eyed flies are mated with each other, what types ofprogeny will appear?
D if the F1 red-eyed flies are mated with the F1 purple eyed flieswhat phenotypic ratio is expected?
