In a well-constructed essay, address the issue of symbolic images (or archetypes) within American Literature from 1865-onward.
Use clear examples and quotes from the text, giving the text name, author, and timeframe for each example. You must have a clear thesis and explore the topic at hand. This essay should be at least 3 paragraphs.
