Pick one theme in American history from the themes below. Pick 4 events that you believe impacted that aspect of history you have chosen the most during the era of history we've studied, since 1945. In a substantial paragraph using facts and statistics to back you up for each event, explain how that event had one of the biggest impacts on that aspect of history.
Choose from the following themes: African American history, Women's history, the role of the president, economic history, civil rights (broadly, not just African American)
The events you choose need to be events you can give specific dates to. For example, you can't choose the Civil Rights movement, but you can choose the Woolworths Sit Ins or the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Also, you must pick one event per unit and can choose your fourth event from any of the three units.
