Instructions -
1. Suppose that you wanted to become a psychotherapist (or you wanted to recommend a friend to therapy). In a one to two-page paper, describe which of the approaches to psychotherapy you would take. Answer the following questions in your response:
a. Why would you follow that approach?
b. What do you see as the strengths of this approach?
c. How does your Christian faith/religious belief affect your selection of a therapeutic approach?
d. Thinking about this from your patients' perspective, how might a belief in God help your patients cope with stressful life events?
