Instructions
Please see the guidelines for your combined Writing Assignment/Quiz 2 in "Course Documents". While the hard deadline for the assignment is Sunday, July 25th as noted on your syllabus, I can be flexible in granting you an extra day or so if you absolutely need it AND notify me in advance (not the night of...). The assignment is a fairly short one, and you have a lot of flexibility in choosing what you would like to discuss, therefore I encourage everyone to be creative and have fun with it. Be sure to cite all sources, I will be checking for plagiarized work--which would result in severe penalties. Please email me if you have any questions, and good luck!
Work to be done
The 2016 Presidential race is shaping up to become one of the most fascinating Presidential elections in modern American politics. Unfortunately, the tone of the race also indicates that this will be one of the ugliest and divisive Presidential elections in our lifetime as well. In a 1-2 page essay, discuss your most important issues, and explain why the electorate is so polarized on nearly all of these issues today.
