Important information about Motivation and Behavior
In today's class it was discussed that some managers tend to use fear as a source of motivation as loosing ones job if certain task was not completed. in my opinion applying such a motivation method might have short term success but in the long term it will not only fail but increase the cost of project as extensive monitoring and control methods might be required since the works do not work out of will but out of fear. a good example of this could be to some extend USSR.
