Implications of international institutions


The individual assignment consists in an individual report of no morethan 2000 words.

Assume that you are a researcher working in a (fictional) multinational company based in (a real) Country A. You are asked by your CEO to write a report on doing international business (in a real) Country B.

Part 1:

An analysis of the national business system and cultural conditions in Country B with an assessment of how this will affect your firm within its industry;

Part 2:

An assessment of the implications of international institutions (WTO, EU, NAFTA, etc.) for the firm’s proposed business links with Country B.

Part 3:

Advise on the political risks that the firm may encounter in Country B, their implications for your firm, and on ways to reduce this risks.

The report should contain the following:

  • Executive summary (about 200 words).
  • Table of contents.
  • Introduction.
  • Sections.
  • Concluding section.
  • Reference list.
  • Appendices.
