Implication of Mood on Perception
In terms of someone's worldview, I would like to ask you to consider the importance how our own perceptions not only inform our behaviors but also the relevance of certain aspects in the environment over others. For example, someone's attitude, particularly in light of one's mood, is a useful and pragmatic way to consider the impact of one's mood on perceptions. At the cognitive level, how do you think such a view not only informs subsequent processes such as memory or vision, both within the physical and intuitive sense? In addition, what would you suggest are the implications of one's mood -- either negative or positive -- on your ability to be objective and unbiased in perceiving aspects of a phenomenon?
