Aim: The objective of this research paper is to describe the benefits of implementing MicrosoftSecure Software Development Lifecycle. Software Developers perform security measures during software development phase which identify and determine whether vulnerabilities and security issues exist. Throughout the paper explain the process of the building the Microsoft SSDLC. Also describe the basic software system security principles, dangerous effects of not properly securing software throughout the lifecycle, and issues which may occur if software is not properly secured during the development This paper will discuss some of the known vulnerabilities and exploits of not implementing Microsoft Secure Software Development Lifecycle in the context and framework of the SSDLC.
