The team level goals further congregates to departmental goals, which in turn finally leads to organizational goals. This is a typical Organization culture adopted or followed by many Japanese companies across the globe.”

One would assume that all companies work toward this style of collaboration. However, it is often applied when a company is facing crisis and/or needs an immediate change in their organizational direction. What is thoughts concerning Japanese companies such as Takata and Toyota, that are/have facing lawsuits due to faulty products and/or design? How could this style have added in fixing the problems?
