Design an experiment to test your hypothesis keeping in mind the ethical limitations of using human participants. Include how you will recruit your subjects, define your variables, and briefly explain your procedure.

2. Explain the similarities and differences between Down Syndrome and FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). Be sure to include in your answer the specific causes of each as well as the symptoms associated with both. Include in your answer how one is attributed to nature while the other is attributed to nurture. What can prospective parents do, if anything, to reduce their chances of giving birth to a child with one of these conditions?

3. Imagine you are a health care provider who is educating expecting/pregnant couples about their unborn child. What information about the prenatal stage of development do you think is most important for first-time parents to understand? What suggestions might you have for the expectant couple to increase the chances of a healthy baby? What specific recommendations would you give to BOTH parents to help prepare them for the actual birth?
