You will individually do a written test about the novel you have read and the group work you have done.

Your task is:
1. Agree on one paragraph in the novel that you feel illustrate one of the novel’s important themes. Show this paragraph as a quotation in your presentation. Argue why it is such a clear illustration of the theme you have selected.
2. Agree on one paragraph in the novel that shows how the living conditions were for people in the specific period of time when the novel takes place. Show this paragraph as a quotation and argue why it is such a clear illustration.
3. Agree on one paragraph in the novel that shows how the story still applies today. How and why is the novel of interest when we look at society of today? Show this paragraph as a quotation and argue why it is such a clear illustration.
4. Explain why you think your novel became a classic. Find a quotation in the novel to support your answer.
When you choose your paragraphs, you should pay attention to language, word choice, imagery, character description etc.
