Visit the website of Canada Border Services Agency. Go to the Import and Export category and determine:
a) The goods you would like to import/export also visit
b) Which country the goods are coming from and in which country they are manufactured
c) Make sure the goods are not prohibited to import to Canada or to export from Canada
d) Determine whether or not the goods you want to import/export are subject to restrictions or other requirements;
e) Tariff classification
f) Applicable tariff treatment
g) Rate of duty
h) Taxes payable when importing/exporting goods
Also include all the necessary forms relative to your importing/exporting procedures as appendix. This report should:
a) Provide the rationale why you choose such country and item
b) Illustrate the flow of importing/exporting of the goods you identify
c) Address issues in the process of importing/exporting you think are importing
d) Include your recommendations, overall comments and conclusion regarding this international trade.
