1.Explain alternative study designs, including ecologic and cross-sectional studies. Provide an example for each.
2. Explain alternative study designs, including nested designs and case cross-over. Provide an example for each.
3. Illustrate the cohort study design in epidemiology, providing at least two relevant examples.
4. Cohort studies have proven particularly useful in the investigation of pediatric health and disease. Discuss, and provide specific examples for the use of cohort study designs in research on childhood disease.
