Problem 1: It could be stated that change management is a systematic approach (strategy) to dealing with the transition or transformation of an organization's goals, processes or technologies. Such strategies include having a structured procedure for requesting a change, as well as mechanisms for responding to requests and following them up. Critically discuss a generic change management process. Provide some appropriate examples to illuminate the management and control aspects relating to your answer.

Problem 3: Leaders interact with people whose cooperation they require to meet organisational goals, and it is important to realise that leadership in this context requires all the leadership competencies. The leader still has to influence and persuade people and his or her social and emotional competencies are critical for success. There have been many approaches to the study of leadership and a number of theories has been developed. These theories reflect the way and the extent to which interpersonal competencies are used, and their impact on the performance of subordinates. Discuss the following two theories: · The Full Range Theory of Bass and Avolio; and Servant leadership

Problem 4: Trust in individuals can be strongly influenced by previous experiences, second hand knowledge from others, or general trusting tendencies. Trust can also be expressed towards organisations. Discuss the elements of trust and how they contribute to a leader's effectiveness
