1. If the membrane surrounding a cell was permeable to sodium what would happen to the concentration of sodium inside and outside a cell?
2. Discuss why maintaining fluid homeostasis is a dynamic process.
After reading Chapter 7 (Sections 7.1-7.7; paying special attention to sections 7.6 & 7.7) let's discuss fluids/beverages.
What are the top three fluids or beverages you consume on a regular basis (examples: water, juice, milk, coffee, tea, beer, wine, hard liquor, soda/cola, sports drink, energy drink)?
Be specific, if you say juice, what kind of juice? What kind of milk? How much and how often do you drink them? What are at least three pros and three cons for each of them?
After reading the learning materials regarding fluid intake, what do you plan to continue regarding your regular fluid intake and what do you plan to change (if anything)?
