Helping Behavior
If helping makes us feel good, why don't people help more? Identify a helping behavior and suggest a plan to decrease the costs of helping for that behavior (e.g., donating blood). What could you do to increase the rewards for people helping? Do you think that your strategy would lead to people helping more? How feasible a strategy is it? How much incentive would be the "right amount"-that is, enough to induce people to help, but not so much that the overjustification effect is elicited?
