Question/Task 1: We had three lecture/videos for this week: Ideology Lecture, Wealth and Income Inequality Lecture, and the Drive: Motivation video.
Choose a learning point, quote, or concept from one of these videos. Explain it quickly, and then identify and discuss two connections between it and 1) something from CH2 or CH3, and 2) something from CH4 or CH5.
For example:
"In the Ideology lecture video, Matthew says that political ideology is changing and in flux, that the understanding we had of ideology in the U.S. in the 20th century is now shifting. I see a connection between this and CH3, where it says....I also see a connection with CH5's discussion of capitalism, where it says..." and so on.
Question/Task 2: Pick one of the Discussion questions from the end of CH5: Political Economy (at the end of the chapter, before the Endnotes, under the heading "Discussion Questions"). Need Assignment Help?
Answer the question. In your answer, 1) refer to something from CH5 that helps explain your answer, and 2) identify and discuss a connection between that discussion question, and any of the video lectures from Week 2, or any of the lectures and textbook chapters from Week 1.
Question/Task 3: With recent developments in digital technology (AI, audiobooks, podcasts, streaming, etc.) there is no longer a reason for children to be able to read books, or even to read at all. Agree or disagree? Why?
