But it is the selection process-- deciding on the right candidate that will be a good fit for your organization-- that is the critical factor. Selection could involve many potential steps: human judgment, behavioral interviews, structured interviews, various tests, legal considerations and a number of other factors. Chapter 7 (Selecting Human Resources) covers a wide range of topics important to the selection process. Review the chapter fully and address the following for this Discussion Thread.
Your assignment is to post one (1) research article that addresses at least one of the of the major topics in Chapter 7. It can be any aspect of the decision making process in selecting the right candidate as mentioned above. Your article can take either a pro or con point of view on the topic.
