Topic: Identifying and Critiquing Purveyors of Pseudoscience
Description:
Identify a television program (Finding Bigfoot) that you feel encourages pseudoscience in some way. Watch 2 episodes and then write an essay to an audience filled with fans of the show. Attempt to convince them that the program they love is promoting or encouraging pseudoscientific worldview. While the audience is filled with ardent fans, they are educated, and even though there are likely opposed to your argument, they will approach you argument logically.
