Identify a Headline news story and compare its coverage and commentary across some of its horizontally integrated divisions (broadcast news, print, cable news). Compare what you find with the coverage by an independent print outlet like The American Prospect, Mother Jones or The Nation. Do you believe the ownership of the media outlet impacted how the story was covered.
