Part I : Program and Purpose
Select a state public policy program related to health care, education, or criminal justice.
Write a 700- to 1,050-executive summary in which you identify the public policy program and purpose. Within the summary:
• Explain why evaluation is necessary.
• Explain how evaluation could affect the future of the program and the intended purpose of the original policy.
• Identify various internal and external parties who should participate in the evaluation and why you selected these parties
Part 2 : Policy Evaluation
Research and select a public policy program that has been terminated within the past 15 years (federal, state, or local, or non-profit policy).
Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper in which you evaluate the following:
• The internal and external feedback mechanisms
• The Information gathered from the evaluation and feedback
• How the feedback resulted in termination
• The current alternative to the policy program
