a) After reading Ch. 7 in Corey & Corey, as well as the article, Beliefs and Practices of Christian Psychotherapists Regarding Nonsexual Multiple Relationships, please discuss potential ethical issues that might come up when treating clients who attend the same church as you.
b) Identify at least two scenerios where you could counsel people who attend your church, while also adhering to the CAMFT, ACA, and/or AAMFT Code of Ethics.
c) Lastly, identify at least two ethical challenges that a Christian therapist might face when working with a client from a different faith background (or a client who does not identify as religious at all). How might a Christian therapist resolve these challenges while balancing his/her faith with the CAMFT, ACA, and/or AAMFT Code of Ethics.
