Identify two practicing supervisors who would be willing to be interviewed. One should be a person who is non-protected (such as a white male under 40 years of age); and the other should be a member of a protected class (such as a person described in this chapter as a protected-class member). Ask each supervisor to identify what they believe to be the five most important requirements (or tips) for good supervision of protected-group employees within their departments.
