I. START by working from the perspective of a hiring manager / HR manager in a company you personally might be interested in working for. See the Workshop 2 slide on "Developing a Hiring Manager Persona" if you need help developing this perspective. In a concise paragraph, explain your "Hiring Manager Persona".
II. Identify three random individuals on LinkedIn with additional social media presence - see rules of engagement below. List each person's linkedin profile address so others can view their profile. Using the CareerBuilder Study findings as a framework (CareerBuilder rejection findings - see the bottom of this prompt for a reminder), review the information provided on LinkedIn and on other social media. Determine whether each of the three individuals would be rejected from your company's application process. Explain why in each case, including a mention of the site where you found particular details. Your purpose is to establish a traceable explanation of your review and conclusions that might go into a company HR file.
