1. To evaluate selected themed restaurants in terms of service quality throughusing five key attributes which are;Reliability, Assurance, Responsiveness, tangibles and Empathy.

2. To identify the strengths and weaknesses of each restaurant in order to provide appropriate recommendations; and

3. To determine the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction and loyalty.

4. To review the relationship between dine serve model attributes and service quality in theme restaurant in Muscat.

The theoretical bases for this study are supported by a discussion of previous studies and existing research relevant to the constructs of interest. The importance of service quality in specialty and theme restaurants has obtained a substantial amount of attention by managers and academic scholars in a variety of fields through identifying the nature of the relationship between service attributes and service quality from one side and the relationship between service quality and customer expectations and satisfaction from the other.
