When you reflect on these chapters, consider how you feel about Meursault's socializing with other characters. What do these relationships reveal about him?

One of the most important chapters in the book. It leaves open many questions. Notice the role of the sun and the sea. Have you encountered any of them earlier? Can you explain why does Meursault kill the Arab? Can you find anything to justify his action?
