Welcome to the last week of your course. In this discussion question, you have the opportunity to be creative and to relate what you have learned to your professional life. Please explore and critically think about some of the learning objectives and concepts presented in this course. Please effectively communicate how you would lead an organization (or a group of people within the organization) by applying the knowledge you have learned ethically and responsibly. Your discussion should also include innovative thinking and information-technology aspects (such as the Internet, social-media, computers, etc.) that may assist you in decision-making. You may frame your discussion around any functional component of business, and in any context: problem-solving, management, leadership, organizational behavior, etc.( 150 to 165 words)

Question 2

This Comprehensive Learning Assessment is designed to assess your critical thinking and problem-solving skills developed in this course. Your answer will be reviewed for its clarity, relevance, coherence, logic, and consistency.

First, reflect upon the following:

There is a growing number of Americans who do not vote in national and local elections. Many of them explain their non-participation by saying that their vote would not make a difference.

Some go on to argue that this is true because "money plays such a large role in elections that the candidate with the highest paid, and the highest quality media campaign wins." Most people agree that money sometimes plays an inappropriate role in determining the outcome of elections.

Then using the Comprehensive Learning Assessment guidelines detailed in this syllabus, develop a proposed solution to this problem that takes into account the view that people and organizations with money have a right to use that money to advance political causes they believe in. If you like, you may decide to develop a position to the effect that there is no solution to the problem and that we have no choice but to accept the status quo. Regardless of the position you take, you must ensure that you have developed a 4 to 6 page, APA-formatted paper that incorporates your well-supported solution/position by taking into account the following:

1. Is the solution/position well stated? Is it clear and unbiased?

2. Identify the role of ethics in why they do not vote (ethics on the part of politicians).

3. Have you cited credible and relevant evidence, experiences, and/or information essential to the issue?

4. Have you clarified key concepts when necessary?

5. Have you developed a definite line of reasoning, explaining how well he or she is arriving at his or her conclusions?

6. Is your reasoning well-supported?

7. Have you addressed alternative points of view or lines of reasoning, and did you respond to objections framed from other points of view?
