Identify the positions on your chart that are required

Discussion Post

• Create an organizational chart that includes the typical positions found in an airline operating under either Part 121 or Part 135. Typical positions should include both positions required by federal regulations as well as positions necessary for daily operations. Your chart should represent the hierarchical nature of the organization. (In other words, it should show who reports to whom.) You should create this chart yourself, NOT use a chart created by someone else or some organization. The preferred way for you to create this chart is to make one by hand and take a picture of it using your cell phone. You can then upload the image to the course.

• Identify the positions on your chart that are required under federal regulations (as opposed to those that are simply necessary for operations).

• Create a summary to accompany your chart that lists each position and its basic responsibilities.

The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
