The governor has asked that you present this information to your local city council. Use PowerPoint for your presentation, and include the following information listed below. Discuss the restorative justice concept, and identify dispositional alternatives in the juvenile justice process. Discuss the demographics of juvenile crime and juvenile offenders in your local area. Use statistics no older than 2018. Identify one of the most concerning issues regarding juvenile crime in your area. Identify the major types of prevention and diversion programs. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these programs. Discuss a specific prevention or diversion program within your area used to deter the identified juvenile delinquency problem. Identify the logistics of the program to include, but not limited to history, mission, location, staff size, financial support, target population, role in deterring juvenile delinquency, strengths, and limitations. Provide your reasons of support or non-support for the program.
