Read up on the MSM, outline the stores/processes, explain the claims & provide evidence to support/challenge them using research & examples. Keep a note of your references & hold onto the notes you take for use in the assignment. Use the evidence you have already collated about the capacity, duration etc of STM/LTM to help support the claim of separate stores.
Identify the key studies that have investigated capacity, duration & encoding in STM & LTM - make a note of each of these (inc reference) - for each you will need to be clear on the aim, procedure, findings & conclusions of the study. Evaluation is also important
You should have a list of the key studies, where you can find them, what they are about, eg, duration in STM.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
