Identify the independent variables dependent variables and

Go back to Exercise I that you completed for the Module 2 Homework Assignment.  Using the sections beginning with Steps VIII-X (8 through 10), refine the section of your paper that deals with operationalizing your concepts or identifying your hypotheses.  Remember that some of this will be based on your particular research problem and some will be based on what you have found through your research.

Operationalize your concepts or construct your hypotheses.  Specify what your business research proposal will find out; that is, state your hypothesis or idea for research.  If you have an idea what your study will show, you may present it in this section.  BUT, note that you will actually find it out through the research you would plan to conduct in the future.

Specify the variables that are involved.  In other words, what do you need to find out about in order to solve the business problem?  Be specific.  You will be developing the actual study next, and you need to be clear on what you are trying to find.

Identify the independent variables, dependent variables, and extraneous variables.  Are there any intervening variables?

What is the best method for studying your problem-quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method analysis?  Explain why.

Begin to identify your population and then who will be in your study group.
