1) Unethical conduct is not necessarily illegal conduct, explain what this means. Identify the differences between civil law and criminal law and explain how equity provides a remedy for civil infractions. Define the term "business ethics" in your own words and what corporate social responsibility means to you.
2) Research, identify and post an example of a company in the last year that engages in seemingly unethical behavior but is acting within the bounds of the law and provide whether you agree or disagree with its business practice. Provide your sources for information.
3) Pursuant to the chapter reading, when it comes to following the law, where does a small business find the law it is bound by and, what are the purposes of law? In your mind, which purpose do you agree with and why? Provide an example law today that helps to lend credibility to your argument.
