Course Competency:
i. Analyze the increased complexity of care among older adults.
Your supervisor needs to make sure that each of the in-service topics will be covered by someone, so she is asking the staff to communicate their topic preference. Below is the list of problems your supervisor wants the nursing staff to be able to teach older adult clients (and/or their family members) about.

Last names A-H choose one of the following topics:

Last names I-Q choose one of the following topics:
i. Depression
ii. Dementia
iii. Polypharmacy
Last names R-Z choose one of the following topics:
i. Increased risk of falls
ii. Vison/hearing impairment
iii. Nutrition and hydration
Your supervisor has asked you to submit a 1 page proposal which addresses the following:
i. Identify the client problem your in-service will address.
ii. Describe at least 5 consequences of the client problem as it relates to the health, safety, and well-being of older adults.
iii. Explain your rationale for choosing the client problem you selected.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
