Write a paper of 750-1,000 words, discussing the importance of research-based practices and research-based facilities. Include the following in your paper:
Research-Based Practices
1. Describe what constitutes a research-based practice for addiction and substance use disorders.
2. Discuss why it is important for substance use counselors to utilize research-based practices.
3. Discuss methods for substance use counselors to remain aware of emerging research-based practices in the counseling field.
Research-Based Facilities
1. Explain the importance of substance use facilities implementing research-based practices.
2. Identify research-based facilities in Arizona (or the state that you live in), and describe the therapeutic approaches that are offered at each.
3. Discuss the success rate statistics from the research-based facilities that you identified.
Include a minimum of three scholarly resources, in addition to the textbook, in your paper.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
