Project Assignment: Initial Plan Development

You will submit the first four parts of the course-length project. The project analyzed must be the project approved by the instructor. The deliverables are:

1) The statement of need: Write a brief description of the chosen organization and discuss the background information associated with the problems that need to be solved.

2) The goals and objectives of the project: Identify project goals and the underlying objectives. Quantify the measurable performance expectations of the project plan to determine whether it meets the planned objectives. Performance should be defined in terms of:

a) The product or process specification
b) The total budget at completion of the plan
c) The time frame for completion of the plan

3) Stakeholders and project requirements: Identify the project's stakeholders. Analyze their needs and wants and create a list of project requirements derived from the inputs provided by the stakeholders.

4) Project scope development: Identify the scope of the project to define the work that needs to be performed to meet the project objectives.

Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:

(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
