Homework: Integrated Literacy
For this homework, you will develop five integrated literacy activities that focus on the piece of literature of your choice. Feel free to use literature from your final project. You will use the attached template and complete the following steps: My State is Michigan
i. Identify the grade level you will use for this homework Kindergarten
ii. Identify a theme for your unit
iii. Identify the piece of literature being used as your anchor text
iv. Identify 1-2 literacy skills (from your state standards or Common Core) that will
v. provide the objective for your instruction
vi. Identify the subject areas you plan to integrate and briefly explain the 5 activities you plan to integrate with your literature selection (Listening- Speaking, Social Studies, Math, Art, Reading Comprehension, Play, Writing, or Science).
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
