This assignment reinforces your understanding of the proper use of icons and colors in application and web design.
1. Identify one web site or application that violates the use of colors as described in Step 12 of the textbook. Take a screen shot of its screen and paste it in a Word document. Below the screen shot, write one or two sentences describing the violation.

3. Given the following features below for which you designed a menu system in Assignment 3, create an icon for each of the items. You can use a drawing tool to create new icons, or you can use existing images that are downloaded from another source. The icon should cognitively map to the function it performs. That is, it should reasonably represent the function it performs. In the Word document, paste each icon below the name of the functionality it represents and write a brief explanation about why the icon is an adequate representation of the feature.

4. Using a drawing tool, create a picture that uses only colors to produce a three-dimensional effect. The picture you create can be as simple as a circle within a square or various characters on a background.
