You will create a decision matrix and write a short paper discussing your decision-making process. Follow the steps below.
i. For this homework, review the video and article "Decision Matrix Analysis- Making a Decision by Weighing Up Different Factors" by Mindtools Team.
ii. Identify an academic or career-related decision that you either need to make now,or will need to make in the near future. Please make sure that this is a decision with at least 3 potential choices to choose from, and multiple factors influencing your decision.
iii. Identify one S.M.A.R.T. goal associated with your decision. List your S.M.A.R.T. goal at the top of your paper.
iv. Complete the decision matrix worksheet below:
v. Develop a 1-2 page paper (double-spaced) discussing the following topics. The paper length of 1-2 pages should be where you answer questions like the ones below. The 1-2 pages does NOT count your decision-making matrix:
a) The details surrounding your academic/career decision
b) How you identified the factors that you used to judge/measure each potential choice
c) Your results
d) Your thoughts on the results
e) Did this clarify or complicate your decision?
f) Do you agree with the results? Why or why not? Explain.
g) Your S.M.A.R.T. goal associated with this decision, how this goal will help you, and how you will achieve this goal.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
