Access the New York City Marathon website to identify sponsor partners.
1. Identify three sponsors that you feel are appropriately connected to the event (provide your rationale - think objectives!). Make sure you provide the level of sponsorship and what is involved with that level of sponsorship (example: exclusivity, hospitality, product promotion opportunities, events within the event).
2. Identify one other event these three sponsors are involved in. Does the second event/organization provide the same sponsorship objective benefit or diffierent?
3. Identify one current sponsor that you have a hard time associating with the event. What is your reasoning? Hint: Chapter 3 Developing Successful Sport Sponsorship Plans may be useful for sponsor rationale/evaluation.
