Problem
A. First, individually search online for a screening tool used in the health care setting focusing on preventative care that helps a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the assessment of the cardiovascular, respiratory, or peripheral vascular system of a patient. Students must share in the Initial Post a description and/or link to the screening tool you found.
B. Then, critique the screening tool to determine its value for a primary care setting, including its ease of use, scoring and interpretation, and limitations.
C. Discuss what additional physical exam components, clinical management plans, and/or referrals the FNP would need to do based on scores achieved from the screening tool.
D. Identify key referrals and interprofessional team members that would be appropriate for managing the patients based upon screening tool results, with rationale.
