You have completed readings on several neurodivergent conditions. For this assignment, create a checklist to help you identify possible features associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a student, client, or consumer. You will expand this checklist throughout the semester as you learn more about Autism and other neurodivergent conditions. Try to base your checklist primarily on course content; however, you may utilize additional non-course resources if needed (e.g., DSM-V diagnostic criteria descriptions) if you wish to more clearly define a characteristic or feature. Be sure to note your source when listing a characteristic or feature (e.g., book chapter, DSM-V, etc.). Because this course does not train you to diagnose, you do not need separate checklists for different conditions you suspect (e.g., co-occurring ADHD, Anxiety, etc.) You may; however, note any possible relevant co-occurring conditions if you wish.
