Scenario
You are a member of your organization's ethics committee. As a nurse preceptor and member of the ethics committee you have been asked to do a presentation at the upcoming new nurse's orientation to educate the new hires on the considerations, impacts, and strategies related to ethical dilemmas. You are excited to share your enthusiasm and passion for the importance of ethics in client care.
Instructions
Select a current ethical dilemma in nursing from your workplace or recent news to use as the basis for your presentation.
Create a PowerPoint® presentation that includes the following:
o The ethical dilemma
o The ethical issues related to the dilemma
o The impact on nursing and patient care
o Strategies that support person and family centered care
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
