"Smart Pills" have become increasingly available on high school and college campuses nationwide. Students are finding that taking these drugs can enhance their focus and memory even if they do not have ADHD. Nonprescription use of these drugs among college students is said to be "commonplace," and studies suggest that the drugs can enhance declarative memory and other cognitive functions, even among those without attention deficits (Smith and Farah, 2011).
After watching this short youtube video: "'Smart Pill' A Hit On College Campuses" answer the following questions in one complete essay:
1. Do you think that students who use these drugs have an unfair advantage over those who do not use them?
2. Would you consider using a "smart pill" to improve your focus and enhance your memory before taking an important exam?
3. Identify at least one benefit and one drawback of making these drugs available to any adult that wanted them.

• Who was Ivan Pavlov and how did he "discover" what is now known as Classical Conditioning? As part of this answer, be sure to fully detail (use appropriate textbook terms) how he got the dogs in his laboratory to show the eventual conditioned behavior that they did.
