1. Determine differences in multicultural/ethnic views and ritualizing of death.
2. Explain and define the concepts related to suicide, grief, bereavement, funerals and other topics related to death and dying.
3. Identify coping strategies that will assist in transcending the fear that is generated by the topic of death and dying.
4. Illustrate developmental/life perspective views of death and dying from prenatal to geriatrics.
5. Look beyond the traditional views of the death process.
6. Recognize ways that will allow investigation of the relationship between life and death.
