Enhancing system responses to domestic violence is a key component of effective system advocacy. "Ideal" community responses are the focus of the "Coordinated Community Action Model" developed by Mike Jackson and David Garvin with the Domestic Violence Institute of Michigan.
For the purposes of this discussion topic please complete the following:
1. Review pages 235-237 of Wilson, Creating a Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence(under Content on the homepage then Course Resources then eReserves).
2. Choose one system from the list and identify the system that you are discussing.
3. Respond to the following:
a) Identify at least 3 strategies that you think can make a positive difference. Explain why you think these are the best strategies.
b) Might there be any challenges in implementing these strategies? Please explain.
