Review the Common Fund programs listed on the NIH Roadmap Web site by exploring the program links on this page:
• Select one of these programs to research.
• Search the Walden Library databases to select a peer-reviewed article that addresses your chosen program.
• Identify another source of information on this program that is available through mass media (e.g., the Internet, a newspaper article).
With this in mind, write a 1- to 2-page review paper that compares and contrasts the key points described in your two sources. Also include the following in your paper:
• Each program has several initiatives that NIH is pursuing with the purpose of enhancing both clinical research nationally and the program. Explain at least two of these initiatives
• If appropriate, identify the clinical trial stage or task that will be most influenced by the initiative.
