I. Using the Authors, Anne Bradstreet in "The Prologue", and Judith Sargent Murray, "On the Equality of the Sexes" with using in text citations.
II. Identify and explore something that connects the 2 authors together. Do they both use language, structure, or narration in an interesting way? Do you see parallels or counterparts in their characters? Do their stories deal with similar or complementary themes? What makes you want to read these works side by side?
III. Think about moving this in the direction of an interpretive thesis: will you be able to offer one central claim that ties your observations and interpretations together? How will you, as a unique individual reader, bring something original to the discussion of these two works?
